- Q: Can ICaps tablets be
crushed or broken in half prior to taking?
- It is not recommended that the tablets are
broken or crushed. ICaps tablets are slow release coated tablets and have
been specifically designed to be swallowed whole. This helps to reduce any
side effects (e.g. stomach irritation), avoids any unpleasant taste, and
provides improved bioavailability of the vitamins, minerals and other
anti-oxidants.

- Q: Is ICaps suitable for
vegetarians/vegans?

unsuitable for vegetarians and vegans.

pork or pork derivatives.

other medication such as warfarin?

-
- Q: I am a smoker/I used to
smoke, can I take ICaps?
- Recent studies that looked at
beta-carotene intake (20-30mg) concluded a potential link between
beta-carotene and increased risk of developing cancer. For this reason
smokers and other individuals at risk from cancer, are not encouraged to
take high levels of beta-carotene. Levels of beta-carotene
present in the daily dose of ICaps, are much lower than those studied, and
are, therefore, considered to be within safe limits. If in any doubt,
consult a medical practitioner before starting to take ICaps.

-

(sugar). It is therefore not recommended for diabetics to take ICaps until
advice has been sought from a medical practitioner.
