DAILIES AQUA COMFORT PLUS Comfort Plus from Ciba Vision is a new premium product daily disposable contact lens from the Focus Dailies brand. There are now three products in the range. Basic Focus Dailies are often re-branded as own brand and come without Aqua-Release technology. Next is Focus Dailies ALL DAY COMFORT with Aqua-Release which upon blinking release PVA (polyvinyl alcohol - a moisturising agent commonly used in wetting drops) into the tear film. This continues throughout the day in a sustained release mechanism, providing patients a built in moisturising agent for all day comfort. Now in this latest advance, DAILIES AQUA COMFORT PLUS contain three different chemical additives which release 5X more than the AquaRelease technology of the ALL DAY COMFORT product and uses a triple action moisture technology to lubricate, moisturise and refresh for comfort throughout the day - the three complementary wetting agents added are - Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC), Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) and Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA).
